We see painting as a means to discovery.

The act of painting together entails that we relinquish control of the surface. Our individuality means that duality is intrinsic to our practice: our differences serve us, generating a friction that allows us to create beyond our selves.

We use matter that forms a part of our heritage: earth, plant roots and metal pigments, natural glues and gesso. The ritual of preparation is integral to the work - we seek to express the transformative process, the constant motion and energy of matter.
